Molly Murray & Dr. Gewanter Publish Op-Ed Calling for Patient-Centered Policy Reforms

Barriers to accessing medicines and treatments, coupled with rising out-of-pocket costs, continue to have a detrimental effect on our healthcare system. Higher costs for patients, avoidable health deterioration, and further delays for critical care and wellness continue to stand in the way of the doctor-patient relationship.

Let My Doctors Decide (LMDD) and its founding company, Autoimmune Association, are committed to putting patients first and achieving patient-centered health care coverage to improve wellness, lower costs, and protect the patient-physician relationship. We continue to advocate for meaningful reforms and strongly encourage the adoption of straightforward principles that address the barriers that prevent patients and doctors from making treatment decisions.

Read more in a recent op-ed by Dr. Harry L Gewanter, a semi-retired Richmond pediatric rheumatologist, LMDD Task Force member and a director of CSRO; and Autoimmune Association President, Molly Murray.
